The role of Refuse and Recycling Ganger is to act as the lead crew member, overseeing the safe collection of waste on assigned rounds.
We are looking for a new member of staff to work at the Harlington Road Depot.
In addition to collecting waste/recycling material on a daily basis, you will also be responsible for ensuring missed collections are kept to the absolute minimum, ensure the health and safety of the crew, undertake banksman duties for the safe operation of the vehicle, understand and use the in-cab technology after training to ensure collections are monitored and recorded including any problems and be the member of the crew to liaise and advise residents and other users of the Borough.

You will be working with a range of stakeholders including colleagues (of all levels), residents, traders and service users. You will be responsible for your own health and safety at all times, and must ensure that safe working methods are maintained at all times.
Other important skills would include:
identification of waste types
